Muhammad Baqir as-Sadr and Islamic Economics
To commemorate the publication of my article this week in the Virginia Journal of International Law, Chibli Mallat, renowned Shi'i law scholar and current candidate for president of Lebanon (they don't elect the president by popular vote, but God bless him, Chibli's running anyway) and I have had a friendly exchange of views on the subject of Islamic economics as developed by Muhammad Baqir as-Sadr and the jurisprudential implications of that.
