Iraq's Five Year Anniversary
As many of you know, yesterday was the fifth year anniversary of the invasion of Iraq. To commemorate that, I've written an article on Jurist, the web legal news site, concerning legislative achievements in Iraq, past and future, what has been done and what remains, with a particular focus on current events. I won't claim that it has a whole lot to do with Islamic law per se, but I imagine the audiences for it and for my blog are close enough that it is worth taking the time to look at.
